Strength and Mobility at the Ainslie Studio

Regular bodyweight training, joint conditioning and mobility work are great ways to optimise your training regime and improve your body awareness. Merryn conducts private and small group strength and mobility training in the Ainslie Studio at a variety of times and days. 

What happens in a Strength and Mobility class?

The one hour strength and mobility class starts with a combination of dynamic warmup movements and stretches.  We then progress to a combination of circuits and skill work where a number of training methods and principles are employed to produce optimal training effects.  Activities involve complex neuromuscular movements, balancing and/or static holds, and are often performed with a partner checking, challenging and cueing.

Corporate and Team Strength and Mobility

Merryn is available for group strength and mobility classes at your workplace or training venue.  Merryn has experience in conducting strength and mobility training for a variety of team and individual sports, including with the Canberra Raiders NRL and under 20's squads, Canberra Capitals WNBL squad, and Australian Institute of Sport Swimmers.  Merryn can design programs and sessions to cater for your specific needs: from sessions aimed at conditioning and posture for the seated worker, to targeted physical preparation for elite and recreational athletes.
